Summary:

A beautiful wild Australian mare gives birth to Thowra, an exceptional cream-colored foal, with a mane and tail that gleam silver in the moonlight. As Thowra grows through several seasons in the mountains the herd find survival difficult. The summer is worse, for that is when Man comes to try and capture Thowra, and becomes an obsession of mythic proportions.
